فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهَا وَكَانَ عَاقِبَةُ أَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا
So they tasted the pain of their actions; and the consequence of their deeds was ruin.
So they tasted the evil result of their own doings and the outcome of their doings was ruin.
So they suffered the (evil) consequences of their deeds, and the subsequent end of their affairs was (in the form of) loss.
and thus they had to taste the evil outcome of their own doing: 17 for, [in this world,] the end of their doings was ruin,
Wherefore they tasted the evil consequence of their affair, and the end of their affair was loss.
They therefore tasted the evil outcome of their deeds, and the outcome of their deeds was a loss.
So it tasted the evil result of its conduct, and the end of its affair was perdition.
So it tasted/experienced its matter`s/affair`s severity/consequences , and its matter`s/affair`s end/turn (result) was a loss/misguidance and perishment.
So they tasted the fruit of their misdeeds, and the fruit of their misdeeds was perdition.
A Messenger who recites to you the clear messages of Allah so that he may bring forth those who believe and do good deeds from darkness into light. And whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, He will cause him to enter Gardens wherein rivers flow, to abide therein for ever. Allah has indeed given him a goodly sustenance.
They suffered the consequences of their deeds and their end was perdition.
So that it tasted the ill-effects of its conduct, and the consequence of its conduct was loss.
So it tasted the evil result of its disbelief, and the consequence of its disbelief was loss (destruction in this life and an eternal punishment in the Hereafter).
Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct, and the End of their conduct was Perdition.
